Swap out Ranslor's folly with Ancient Parthan Defenders for more defense at the cost of crowd control.
Change the Glass Cannon passive to Conflagration, or Blur, in that order, for more defense when building up your gear.
Note: I have 7% melee reduction as well on my Ranslor's folly which is a blessing.

Build Guide
Idle Hands are the devil's playground!
Play solo or in groups
Inspiration credits: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/70102-2-4-t6-firebird-starter-build
This build can be (mostly) played with a free hand for your beer, your phone, etc.
I never liked Explosive Blast and Black Hole, and I wanted to be able to play solo AND in groups at the same time, and that is why I started gathering some gear that I had to build something new, and this is what it's become. It's an insanely twisted build!
Playstyle:
- Fighting enemies close (<15 yards)
- Make Energy twister hit enemies for increased (15%) damage
- Cast disintegrate as much as possible which creates alot of energy twisters
- Minimize movement to keep 100% damage bonus from the ring/neck set
- Hit as many enemies with disintegrate as possible. Each direct hit increases your damage because of the firebird 6 set bonus.
More recent video with better gear will come later.
Nice build! I will try it out today.

Hi
Tried it out and really liked it. I have not enough damage for T10 yet though. Do you have any numbers on what i should reach before i can do T10 with this build (damage wise)?
Another thing that is bothering me: Why does no one seem to use a cinder coat with the firebuilds? Am i missing something? It would give additional fire damage right?
keep up the good work
When you want to deal alot of damage (i'll edit the build later to clarify) make sure you are hitting the most amount of enemies.
Most people think it's a 'bug' that they are not getting the count right or not getting it at all. The point of the 6 set bonus is that the amount of enemies CURRENTLY hit by your direct casts (Desintegrate in this case) increases your damage.
This means that you need to teleport as much as possible, leaving behind fiery tornadoes helps because these energy twisters keep pulling enemies into it. I've thought about using blizzard, but blizzard does not grant us the 15% damage bonus unfortunately. So i fixed that by just using energy torrent and pulling enemies into it, simply said.
I changed Taeguk for Esoteric Alteration for better survivability.
Check out the raw, uncut youtube video posted on this build!
My paragon is only 300 or so, i only have 2 ancients, and i was still upgrading the esoteric alteration while i was recording, but even so, this build has a LOT to bring this season!!!
If you are a high end player, have like 1000 more paragons than me, please review my build and bring me your feedback, it is very much appreiciated!
So far: Grift 55 confirmed (updated 21-1-2016)

i like this build..
really need that belt as it eating my resource fast..
Please let me know if you have come any farther than Grift 55 please. I havent had the time to play lately unfortunately, but in a few days i will attempt to go higher, got a huge load of stones ready
It seems like you could swap Magefists for Firebird Gloves, wear the Etched Sigil, and cube The Twisted Sword. Would give excess damage for solo and group, at the cost of the 20% fire on your Magefists. Also, COE is nice... but since you're all fire, it seems like a nice Stone of Jordan would work just as well. Also, for solo....Seems like Unity over Halo of Arlyse would be better. And Bane of the Powerful over something like Bane of the Stricken, or maybe Gogok of Swiftness? Even Zei's would probably be better, more consistent damage output than BotP. So why BotP?
i got the belt. so resource is no longer an issue.. now the issue is i'm not killing fast enough on T10. maybe i need to get ancient version for all the gears.. i'm trying to get better stats for the gear.
New video uploaded, better audio and played some GR50.
This is an amazing build. It's exactly what I needed.
