First I must say Thank you so much for the time you put in to these guides, they are priceless!

This is regarding the wizard guide.

When I look at the sheets on google docs regarding the startbuild, the link there takes me to this page.

When I look at the included youtube video here, the build is not the same as on google docs ALL Builds sheet and when I look at the wizard sheet there is yet another build there.

Am I missing something or am I just slow in the head and don't understand how it is all connected?

From what I can see none of the builds are corresponding to the video and so on. From where should I take my info in order to get the correct starter/leveling build?

The Furnace = starter build? are you sure? for everyone or just the lucky one?

i'm using Blizzard apocalypse instead of explosive blast, way better ...

And i'm using explosive blast with the Etched Sigil in my cube for the stacking damage/dmg reduction buff, thats why this guide has the chain reaction rune so you can stack up the buff from EB quickly and mantain it, thats why this build doesnt have one set of items there's lots of skill variants and item variants just depends on what you get to drop early.

This might be a dumn question, but why Harrington Waistguard in Kanai? There arent any chests in a Great Rift, so how does this belt help?

This is a midgame starter build to farm on T6. Not for grifts

To clarify the Firebird set bonus, the % weapon damage you deal with a
Fire skill will also apply an equal % weapon damage DoT over 3 second
from the set bonus.
Doing any further damage will add to the DoT damage, and reset its
duration. Once your DoT damage % reaches over 9000% it will no longer
accumulate, but will apply an indefinite 3000% weapon damage per second DoT — which does
not imply, of course, that you should stop attacking that enemy with
your active skills.
There is an accompanying visual over the head of the monster in the
shape of a flame, once the permanent DoT is applied. The DoT will not
crit, as other DoTs in the game, but will factor in your crit stats into an average number. The
DoT will display every 0.8 seconds and will not interact with attack
speed in any way.
Moving more than two screens away from the burning enemy will make the
DoT fall off, but coming back in range will resume it.

This is a good setup though. But you could do minor changes to it like putting Mantle of Channeling in the cube instead of the belt. But if you use this to farm other sets like Tal Rasha's, there are tons of insanely strong mixed builds. Try these:

As a casual player who's been playing pre RoS,usually solo, I have got to say, I am loving this build!

I'm playing S5 as a wizard, and have been working my way thru acquiring all the recommend items on this. Got my 6pc set on firebirds now, the neck and belt and so far so good.

This setup is definitely a good starter build as you gather the pieces together to get the complete setup listed here once you hit 70

This build is so good in Grift with a group, I always come up on top!

The only 2 pieces I am missing is the furnace and the rose. I am using an edged sigil in the cube and a halo of arlyse in the ring slot.

I am also using a RoRG on the cube, so that I could activate 6 piece from firebird and 4 piece from blackthorn. Of course, I will drop blackthorn once I get a rose.

those not understanding the firebird bonus, it doesnt work to well at lower rifts.. stuff dies to fast and you dont do enough dps, i didnt start seeing constant buffs till t7 and higher. course theres the bug where you can kinda perma have it. works best on yellows, channel dis just enough to get buff then stop attacking the elite.. when it dies from dot youll have it till you kill another elite with it. gotta love seeing 100 mil crits

I just roll a Convention of Elements with a socket, Int, 5 CHC and 8 CDR.. What should I change for CHD?
