Build Guide
Hey boyz!
In my opinion/experience this build is currently one of the strongest possible monk setups for pushing solo GR leaderboards!
Please note: I always keep my diablo fans guides up to date and will be making adjustments to the guide whenever there is a shift in meta! so be sure to check back, and vote on the guide!
Basic game-play strategy:
- Use breath of heaven on cooldown (when in combat)
- Use inner sanctuary on cooldown (when in combat)
- Use epiphany on cooldown (when in combat)
- Use dashing strike at least every 4 seconds
- Cyclone to create density, and disrupt monsters with slow attackspeed
- Hold down Crippling Wave
Skill variations:
- Way of the hundred fists - Fists of Fury (swap out Crippling Wave, and change gear to holy - for a slightly different version of the build (this involves some pretty advanced snapshotting mechanics - not for beginners))
- Mystic ally - Any rune (swap out cyclone strike, for an extra health pot/spirit cap)
Legendary Gem variations:
- Pain Enhancer - Swap out Bane of the Stricken for a crazy dps Setup, with very mediocre single-target (only recommended for lulz)
Kanai's cube variations:
- N/A
Hellfire Passive/Alternative setups:
- Exalted soul (for an absolute max DPS setup, swap out Ytar)
- Near death experience (for HC players, swap out STI)
FAQ:
Q: Why don't we use Mystic ally on our bars?
A: When you activate MA, it causes downtime on the Inna's set DMG Multiplier.

This build is still awesome even after the Raiment set nerfs. Though I wonder about using the shoulders Lefebrevs Soliliquy (Using cyclone strike decrease all damage by 50%) and a different legendary boots (firewalkers maybe?) - maybe the overall dps is higher if the 50% is multiplicative. Also, what about Exalted soul?- that 50 spirit does increase damage from shelongs by 75%. since its 1.5% for each spirit.
why two raiment if you have royal grandeur?
Yeah i forgot to add in the Exatled soul in as an extra skill variation... End game for this build will drop ytar for ES (very very late game - and much more RNG dependent build)
it's the only way to get both I6 AND R2
Quin - If you drop BoY, what slots would you look to compensate for the loss in CDR? I have 10% on both weapons.
EDIT: I'm assuming you have a diamond in your helm. Not having the Leorics bonus hurts compared to the 2.3 build you put out.
What do you replace unity with when you're in a group? Band of the rue chambers?

Hey Quin, I have an ancient Traveler's Pledge, +16% Fire Dmg, 934 Dex, 82% CHD, 8.5% CHC. I should re roll the fire dmg into socket right? You mentioned in your video about fire dmg crit crit amulet is the dream, so i just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the great guide once again!
hey Quin69, say please, maybe better to use Tasker and Theo and replace breath to mystic ally without rune(50% increase damage of all allies and activate their abilities)? so you will loose raiment set, but can put 6th piece of inna+ conversation ring or lefebvre's soliloquy shoulders.

hi Quin. Nice build. My friend and I are playing 2 team in gr65+. he is hunter im monk. thing is without the unity i die ALOT all the time, while he is alive and kicking. what should i change in the build in order to make it work within the rift without unity?
So, would using Bindings of the Lesser Gods instead of Spirit Guards be a good choice for lower rifts where Spirit Guards aren't required?
Quin is defender bracers and tsunami viable ? Cyclone creates such density making the defener stacks quite large not to mention stunned creatures do not damage. Tsunami's range also seems much bigger. I appreciate any feedback
How does a set damage for mysterious allies 50% each in the set Inna ? I do not give a damage bonus
You receive a 50% bonus for each ally due to I6. Combine with Crudest boots and voila.
Why is Seize the Initiative better than Determination? I am thinking monsters are only above 75% health for such a short time compared to the fact your usually will always have multiple mobs around for the 4% to 20% damage increase.
Can I ask why "The Crudest Boots" in the Cube if Ally isn't Active? Does the multiplier apply to the base passive effect if Mystic Ally isn't active?
If not, what's a good viable alternative. Thanks!
