Passives - 5. Passive with Hellfire Amulet:

. Steady Aim (as you should fight ranged by all means) or

. Ambush (because of its synergy with Dead Mans Legacys effect)

. Leech (for some extra survivability)

Items:

. you can either use RoRG plus one of the recommended items instead of any set item, or...

. you can use Unity instead when playing with a follower (obviously with a Unity equipped for the Templar, too)

. you can use Elusive Ring which is a very nice choice that works with or without a follower; and a good one with 60% DR even beats Unity if you use Vault at least every 8 seconds to trigger it

. you can also use CoE, which is the best offensive choice; but I'm lazy and hate to time MS when CoE switches to fire

So, some examples:

. for max dps, you could go Nemesis Bracers - Hellfire Amulet, CoE & Jordans Ring (with fire% and discipline) - RoRG in cube & Magefist; Ambush & Steady Aim as 4. and 5 passive

. for a more lazy dps setup, you could go Nemesis Bracers - Hellfire Amulet, Focus & Restraint - RoRG in cube & Magefist; Ambush & Steady Aim as 4. and 5 passive

. for a more balanced setup, you could go either bracer - Travelers Pledge, Compass Rose & Jordans Ring (with fire% and discipline) - RoRG in cube & Visage of Gunes; Awareness/Ambush/Leech/Steady Aim as 4. passive (adjust bracers and passives to your needs)

. for full defense, you could go Wraps of Clarity - Hellfire Amulet, Elusive Ring & Unity - RoRG in cube & Visage of Gunes - Awareness & Leech as 4. and 5. passive

Legendary Gems:

. Esoteric Alteration and/or Molten Wildebeests Gizzard are great options for survivability (the gems above are listed by decreasing importance, so never replace Zei's!)
