This build uses Delsere's set to heavily pump up the usefulness and power of Slow Time and Frozen Orb. Frosties give you the abilty to freeze enemies hit by your Frozen orb, as well as ramp up your cold damage. F&R bump your damage by 100% so it pretty much tops anything else. You can use things like Halo, but you lose so much damage in the process I don't consider it worth it. Ammy's are pretty much up in the air. Use what you have. Aim for an immunity amulet. Gesture of Orpheus gives you Cold damage, and reduces the CD on Slow time. Azurewrath is also a good choice. Triumvirate will bump your orb damage by an additonal 300%

Cube: Furnace is obvious. Crown of Primus gives amazing capabilities to slow time. RoRG allows you to use Frosties.

Overview: This setup gives your Frozen Orb a boost of 1050%, as well as 100% from F&R, and your cold damage will be up to 60%, 80 if you get it on your ammy, but thats pretty hard. So thats a total of around 1200%. Not including elite damage or Bane of the trapped. Nothing to sneeze at.

Build Guide

This builds main focus was to create a Frozen Orb Sorc capable of soloing at least T10, as well as be useful in a group.

The basics of using the build:

Get your 3 stacks of Triumvirate for 300% orb damage. Cast slow time on large groups and Orb them down. Maintain Triumvirate stacks. Don't bother with attacking things outside of your Slow Time, you barely tickle them, casting 2 to 3 Orbs will bring slowtime back up, so you can have anywhere from 1-5 bubbles up on screen at a time, just keep casting them around large groups of enemies. If you want to stay alive, you need to pay attention. Slow time and your freeze effects will make it pretty hard for things to hit you. as enemies get close, tele away with ease, and dont let those projectiles traveling at the speed of smell hit you. Your main source of death will most likely come from ranged attackers outside of your bubbles. Be wary of them and take them out right away, or be good at dodging.

For groups, Slow time is amazing. It will increase the survivability of your group immensly, as well as some extra damage, be sure to keep the bubbles around as many enemies as possible. Your freeze procs will also greatly help your team. Groups is where Black Hole shines. Cast it on big groups and watch that EP monks shit eating grin spread across his face. It also helps with HotA Barbs limited AoE range. If you aren't in a group, you can consider taking Black Hole off for something else. Magic weapon can boost your damage by 10-20%

Pros:

Damage. With fully optimized gear you should be hitting for 2-3 bil crits.

Survivability. Slow time pretty much stops enemies in their tracks. The main source of incoming damage is ranged attacks outside of your bubbles. Hp will end up being around 1mil, and resistances can get up to 2k, and you can roll some off for armor.

Group play. This build was created with group play in mind. The top wiz build, vyrs, is simply terrible in groups. So i wanted to create something useful for rifts and grifts with a group. Slow time is such a great support skill for both you and your team. Enemies are slowed by 80%, take 15% more damage. Have reduced attack speed, and get stunned if they leave the bubble. It also slows projectiles by 90%, making ranged attacks easily avoidable for you and your team. Not to mention you will be freezing things within the bubble with glacial spike, and even frozen orb because of frost burns. You can also switch runes on Black Hole to the one that absorbs elite effects like molten and such.

Cons:

Slow. The build is sort of slow as far as moving through the rift. Teleport helps, but not having anything to aid with mobility is a big downside of this build. Krelms belt helps quite a bit, but will never be on the level of monks or barbs mobility. Aether Walker isn't much of an option, since teleporting a few times leaves you very low on AP, which means you wont get off many orbs when you run into the density you were porting for.

Stacks are annoying. Seriously. Keeping up the Triumvirate stacks for your +300% orb damage is annoying. Every six seconds you have to stop walking and cast glacial spike. This also makes the build even slower as far as traversing the rift.

I hope you guys give this build a good try and enjoy the D2 Forb Sorc nostalgia. This is my first attempt at an original build for D3.
