This build is the standard Broken Promises build utilizing the Uliana's Set.


Things to Note:

  • I did not create this build - I am merely sharing my experience and information. All credit goes to the original creator.
  • Do NOT place any critical hit chance on any items or in your paragons. You should only have five percent (5%) in your information sheet, which is the character base.
  • Cool-down reduction is a direct increase to your overall damage output.
  • You can regenerate your life during your Seven-Sided Strike animation.

Stat Priorities:

  • Helm: Exploding Palm % Damage > LPS > DEX (Secondary : Physical Resistance & Globe Radius)
  • Shoulders: CDR > LPS > DEX > VIT (Secondary : Globe Bonus & Chill on Hit / Globe Radius)
  • Chest: DEX > VIT > Elite Dmg Reduction (Secondary Stat: Physical Resistance & Melee Damage Reduction)
  • Hands: CDR > CHD > LPS > DEX (Secondary : Physical Resistance & Stun on Hit/ Globe Radius)
  • Legs: DEX > LPS > VIT (Secondary : Physical Resistance & Life per Kill)
  • Feet: Exploding Palm % Damage > LPS > DEX > VIT (Secondary : Physical Resistance & Globe Bonus)
  • Wrists: Cold % Damage > LPS > Dex > Vit (Secondary : Physical Resistance)
  • Waist: LPS > Dex > Vit > Life % (Secondary : Physical Resistance)
  • Neck: CHD > Cold % Damage > DEX/CDR (Secondary : Physical Resistance)
  • Rings: CDR > CHD > DEX (Secondary : Physical Resistance & Life per Kill)
  • Weapons: CDR > Base DMG/%DMG > DEX > VIT (Secondary : Life Per Kill)

Hellfire Passives:


Cube:

  • The Flow of Eternity - Cool-down reduction directly increases your damage output. This doubles it.
  • Spirit Guards / Gungdo Gear - Damage mitigation or Exploding Palm utility respectively. Equip whichever rolled better on your inventory sheet.
  • Broken Promise - After five (5) non-consecutive critical hits, you gain one hundred percent (100%) critical hit chance for 5 seconds). This is why you do not put any crit on your gear.

Gameplay:

Simple. Use your Seven-Sided Strike whenever it is off cool-down, hopefully with a decent assimilation stack. Regen during your animation lock and effectively reposition with Dashing Strike.

Movement speed for clear speed and stack dex.

  • CDR > CHD > AIS

Cool-down is damage and mitigation. Stacking CHD is where your damage is. Attack speed helps with faster assimilation procs.

  • LPS > RES > LIFE > ARMOR

LPS is your sustain, The rest is self explanatory.

  • AD > RCR > LoH > GF

Area damage and resource cost reduction... just cause.
