Build Guide
Adjustments
The build is already adjusted to group Greater Rifts. As 5th passive skill I recommend Steady Aim. Adjustments for other scenarios:
- Very fast Rifts / Speedfarm lower Torments / Fast split bounties or solo bounties
- Wrists: Reaper's Wraps - Health globes restore [25–30]% of your primary resource.
- Waist: The Witching Hour
- Gems: Bane of the Powerful, Bane of the Stricken, Zei's Stone of Vengeance
- Skills: Change Marked for Death (Mortal Enemy) to Vengeance (Seethe)
- Passive Skills: Ambush, Steady Aim, Ballistics, Awareness
- 5th passive skill: Tactical Advantage, Hot Pursuit
- Very fast Greater Rifts (Speed GRs)
- Skills: Change Marked for Death (Mortal Enemy) to Vengeance (Seethe)
- Passive Skills: Ambush or Cull the Weak, Ballistics, Blood Vengeance, Awareness
- 5th passive skill: Ambush or Cull the Weak
- Solo Greater Rifts
- Follower: Thunderfury or Eun-Jang-Do and Ess of Johan on follower for additional CC and stack IAS on follower
- 5th passive skill: Steady Aim or Single Out
- Kanai's Cube: Calamity or Thunderfury
- Skills: Change Mark for Death - Mortal Enemy to Mark for Death - Contagion (More DMG) or Sentry - Polar Station (Better Crowd Control)
- Gems: Alternative to Bane of the Stricken: Iceblink (Better Crowd Control) or Taeguk (More DMG if the mobs die fast)
Cube Calamity and Marked for death? does that stacks?
Prides fall will work if u dont have Cindercoat yet. I would definitely go for cindercoat as soon as u got it though. I didnt have one at patch time so im hunting one. prides fall helps as long as ur not taking hits
Edit- Like the build btw. standard UE build
Hello
You are using bane of the trapped and cull the weak , but i dont see how to trigger this effect if you are using zeis.
how you do that??
I just did some simulations using d3planner for all the variations i can think of for UE Fire (I ruled usage of Stricken and stick with a max Ice Blink or level 60 Taeguk. For the NSer's sake.)
As it turns out.
The variation with MfD:ME and Iceblink, yield the highest damage potential. Using my own profile, it's a 59bil.
Followed by Bait the trap with Iceblink at 56bil.
Seethe with Zodiac Ring yielded the lowest at 35bil. I am guessing that maybe it didnt simulate Seethe. The value seems appallingly low. But I could see the zodiac effect in the wolf uptime.
Seethe with CoE is at 50bil, which suprisingly is roughly the same as cubing a Calamity, Cindercoat and RoRG and equip Pridesfall and use MfD:ME and Taeguk.
The difference between those two there is that the RoRG option is much more consistent. The MS cost would be reduced to 5.86 hatred per shot. Combined with your passive hatred and MfD ME generates 4 hatreds per attack. Your MS is practically free. You will only need to fire generator every 5 seconds to proc your Focus and & Restraint. In another word, you can spam MS as if it's generator. You would not need Seethe at all for hatred. I suspect if the sample time of the simulation is longer, the RoRG option may catch up or even take over all other variations as it practically requires no hatred management.
In practice, it's quite fun to just continuously spam MS.
hey you didint mention for wich passive skill i should go for helfire amulet so whats the passive to go to when trying to get the right helfire amulet?
Hey, great build, but why using Tumble instead of Trail of Cinders? With Tumble, the average discipline consumption reduction is 25% each (and only if you use a even number of vaults), while Trail of Cinders have a 30% reduction because of the Cindercoat (and doesn't matter if the number is even or odd).
How would SOJ work with this instead of F/R. 6 piece set bonus states "15% increased damage per point of discipline you have". A SOJ will roll between 8-10 increase discipline. So wouldnt that be a 100% uptime of 120-150% increased damage?
You then could use RROG and something else instead of all 6 pieces.
Thoughts?
Very important caveat for this build being viable at GR60+
You must have a well rolled Ancient Yang's (at least 3k Damage with IAS) with Max DIscipline and Ramaladni's Gift for Socket. You can push GR50 with a vanilla build, but optimal gear is required for GR60+.
Did you get to greater rift 60+ with this build ?
Ok bane of the trapped at lvl 25 proc's itself when there are mobs near you so cull of the weak proc's due to bane of the trapped proc's from itself so there you go
Use a Thunderfury on your Templar and he procs a slow, so does the sword. If anyone is within your Bane's 15 yards, you are losing most of Zei's dmg. It's why I prefer Polar Station at long distance to proc all gems.
