Build Guide
NOTICE:
For all gear that can roll Shield-Bash damage% you should roll it. I tried to add it on the stat-per-items-list, but it only shows physical% on helm, feet and shield. The dropdown menu to choose the stat's does not list Skill damage % or anything that seems suitable. But in any case, YOU WANT TO HAVE SB% DAMAGE on every piece that can have it and those are: feet, shield and helm.

I am playing on PS4, and the guide is also recorded on PS4. PS4 and Xbox-one (current gen) are using the same version of the game excluding console only additions like offline-mode, nemesis-enemies, gifts and trading. The core game with player and mob damage, skills, mob density etc. are the same; game is patched&updated on PC and PS4 on the same day and this is possible because consoles use the same patches as PC. For you peeps who are now yelling that "nonononoooo, they are not": yes, D3 was a different game on last-gen consoles. Blizzard dropped support for last-gen and the game is not updated on PS3/xbox360, because they cannot run the PC version of the game. Check your facts before making any assumptions on this matter please.
On the build,
The fundamental idea behind these stats is that instead of trying to bring up AC more often with CDR, I wanted to build my character so that I can survive and kill enemies completely w/o AC. And that I have achieved, I am now progressing at GR56 with this build. When using this build, you will end up having aproximately 1500-2000 sheet DPS, and 70-90 million unbuffed toughness. This enables you to survive in high rifts w/o Akkarat's Champion. You will have to learn the playstyle, keep constantly bashing to reduce your shieldglare, laws of valor and ironskin cooldown. You get them to be up close to 100% of the time with some practice. And AC becomes not a necessity, but a nice skill that you can even learn to time to be up with the most difficult situations, like elite/champs/RG.
Playstyle: You need to keep enemies infront of you to produce enough wrath with SG. Use SG whenever it is of cooldown, and keep on bashing all the time. If you are running out of wrath and you are not on an RG that does not spawn adds: you are doing something wrong. Don't stay and fight with single mobs, you will not be able to recover enough wrath. Always push on to have at least 3 mobs to SG. Wrath comes an issue with RG's that do not spawn adds, but with RG's that do spawn adds you should not have any wrath issues.
So if you are having wrath issues with this build while clearing rifts: play better and attack bigger groups

The build explained on a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqKICj5ERpQ
I'm new, what about your utility slot? I can't see the image on the video. I don't understand why people place multiple skills of the same slot and miss others. I'm new btw.
The default Key Binds severely limit your skills usage. Elective Mode[/b] allows the player to mix and match active skills much more freely. For example, as a Witch Doctor you can equip both Poison Dart and Corpse Spiders with Elective Mode.
Elective Mode[/b] can be enabled via
Diablo 3's main options. Hit Esc and choose Options, and then select
Gameplay. Elective Mode is a checkbox in the right column.

Oh, my, god... you've blown my mind...
This is the style I have been looking for! Thanks for laying it out for me I was planning on making my own build but that would've taken too long for myself anyways.
why physical % instead of fire %?
Awesome build. Managed to clear a 54 yesterday, missed a 55 by 15 or so seconds (bummer). Only question i have... what is that transmog you're using?
I'm enjoying the build but having 1 problem with shield bash: I often find myself charging into the middle of a pack of enemies when I want to stay around the outside of them more, even when I'm holding my force-stop modifier key. Even if I don't instantly die from being in range of too many mobs at once I have to run out and reposition, costing me damage and buff uptime. You didn't seem to have that issue in the videos, or at least it was much less of one. I play on PC though, so I'm worried there may be a control function that's just different between the versions. Do you know of something like that?
