ITEMS

The items may vary a bit but most of them are set in stone. You need the Wastes set and it's for you to chose if you want the Leoric Crown or Hex Pants. Hex gives you direct 25% damage buff but Leoric allows you to have over 80% uptime on Berserker in empty rifts.

Mainly, you want this build to be focused on Cooldown Reduction. Because even if you have In-Geom, without any CDR you won't be able to keep permanent Berserker. With about 35% and Gogok of Swiftness you need 3 elite packs in the frame of 20 seconds of berserker ability. That is really not much. Even if you find 1 or 2, the cooldown goes down to about 10 seconds.

Also you can use Leoric to buff your Magic Find and Experience gain if you want to. It's not like this build does not work without cooldown reduction. It does, just it will be a bit slower.

Mad Monarch's is a weapon that everyone have. People farm A1 for bounties, because this is the place where RORG drops and the bounties are easiest to do due to monster's threat level. It does a lot of AoE damage (it goes up to 600-700mils) and allows you to pop the Elites like soap bubbles.

GEMS

Gogok of Swiftness - Mainly used for cooldown reduction but also the attack speed is quite helpful. Monarch is rather slow so each attack speed bonus matter.

Taeguk - Damage and toughness buff. It's better then trapped because for 90% of the time you won't be near elites when they will die.

Pain Enhancer - leaves a nice dot but mainly it gives you attack speed buff so much needed for the Devil Dust to spawn more often.

OVERALL DESCRIPTION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT THIS BUILD IS ALSO EFFECTIVE WHEN THERE ARE NO ELITE PACKS IN THE SIGHT OF VIEW. IT'S NOT LIKE KILLING ELITES ASAP IS A MUST FOR THIS BUILD.

I came up with this build idea when I was doing bounties in A1. From one of the chests i've dropped a nice Mad Monarch's scepter (ancient) and decided to make something with it. For some time I was wondering if BK set or IK maul are so much needed for the WW build to work and it seems that they are not.

I said to myself - what is the difference between having 30% attack speed bonus from BK when I cannot maintain the Berserker even at 40% uptime and 25% permanent attack speed uptime from pemanent Berserker? Roughly 5%.

With right equip you are able to WW all the time due to rage income from Threatening Shout and War Cry and in the same time you gain superior damage (much better than Wastes+BK, due to permanent Berserker, elements ring and Monarch's ability).

Also thanks to Chilanik's chain you are able to keep the 30-40% movement buff for WHOLE team all the time.

SKILL CHOICE:

The skills were selected to buff the damage, speed and maintain rage income.

Quick AND IMPORTANT note: In-Geom's cooldown reduction is added before the %cdr on gear. That means that if you have 30second cooldown and 50% CDR it is not 15second minus 10 from In-geom. It is 30seconds minus 10 seconds and then divided by %CDR. Outcomes are pretty different because in first place you would have 5 second cooldown but in reality you have 10 seconds cooldown.

War Cry - Charge - It gives you 50 rage with 20 second cooldown. With about 40% CDR and swiftness you can keep it up quite often. With In-Goem the cooldown goes even lower and skill is pretty much spammable

Threatening Shout - Used mainly to keep up the rage. It's spammable once you kill an elite pack and can provide rage even in empty hallways. Also taunt works wonders with bees ;p

Sprint - Boost to the movement speed and a bit of damage. 60% turns into much more when elemental ring starts buffing our physical dmg.

Whirlwind - You need the lighting rune to keep the rage WHEN you are out of elites. Also helps you trigger Berserker Rage passive all the time. And also - does a lot of damage when elemental ring triggers lighting element buff.

Wrath of Berserker - It's not only 50% raw damage boost. It's also 20% movement speed, 10% critical chance, 20% dodge and 25% attack speed. Having this up all the time makes the game trivial.

Battle Rage - another +% critical chance buff and straight damage buff.

PASSIVES:

Berserker Rage - straight 25% damage buff. You will never run out of max fury when fighting with monsters. And after you kill Elite Pack you have shout to keep the rage at 95% all the time.

Ruthless and Rampage - those are quiite selfexplantory, just damage buff.

Boon of Bulkathos - Allows you to keep permanent berserker when there are 2-3 elite packs in 20 seconds time window.
