Build Guide
OVERALL DESCRIPTION
IK and Wastes got good clear speed and perma movement buff from either Bulkathos (30%) Sprint (30%) and Boon (30%) and you can also add the bracers that gives speed buff when destroying something. This kind of setup allows you to clear rifts really quick. But it still wasn't enough and the yellow packs were not dying as fast as they should (I had to go through them few times). Then I looted In-Goem and came out with this old school idea:
- Charge set + In-Goem and any ancient main-hand slow weapon for max damage.
In good rifts you got perma Berserker up (becasue In-goem reduced the cooldows by 10 seconds everytime elite is killed) and you charge through all the rift without any kind of cooldown on Charge. After killing first elite pack I can literally CHARGE through half-empty rift in speed of light. Due to almost-perma Berserker buff (50%) bastion set (50%) I just rape the yellow packs (one charge and go further for more elites). Also you can have pernament IP on this build (50% damage reduction) so you don't die to electrify or some other shit by mistake (yes this allows you to slack as hell and still clear it in light speed)
The REND is there to activate the second bastion's passive on guardian or big elite packs.
This is by far - the fastest way to clear rifts. I'll try to upload some video to show you guys the build details and the clear speed but it's quite like the Quin's God Monk.. just instead of dash - you charge
The only downtime is when you can't find elite pack or pylon within like 18 seconds :| But then you can pop ancients and just run to another pack.
I'll try and upload a video today of how it works so you guys can see on your own that it is a beast when it comes to T6 farming.
IN DEPTH DESCRIPTION
Furious Charge
The Charge Build is basing on the Furious Charge skill. On it's own the skill allows you to move really fast towards the enemies and deal damage when going through them or in a small cone at the end of the cast. This skill has 10 seconds cooldown on its own but it can be further reduced by Cooldown Reduction and Merciless Assault rune that:
Recharge time is reduced by 2 seconds for every enemy hit. This effect can reduce the recharge time by up to 10 seconds.
Thanks to that Barbarians are able to spam the skill with appropriate Cooldown reduction as long as there are 3 or more enemies around.
The skill is boosted greatly by the 'The Legacy of Raekor' set that gives you:
(2) Set:
The first enemy hit by Furious Charge takes 100% additional damage.
(4) Set:
Furious Charge gains the effect of every rune.
(5) Set:
Enemies hit by your Furious Charge take 3000% weapon damage over 3 seconds.
Thanks to the 4 set bonus, you can use all runes at once and change the rune you are using to one that corresponds to your actual highest elemental DPS.
The 5 set bonus gives you a nice DOT that IS calculated basing on your Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Attack Speed, Elemental damage, Raw Damage and %bonus damage. So having MORE attack speed actually buffs the damage of the DOT.
IMPORTANT NOTE: While dual handing, the furious charge used to work with 'swing' mechanic. But since patch 2.1 the charge only takes the MAIN HAND weapon in damage calculations. The best weapon to use as main hand is the slowest Mace or Axe with maximum raw damage range!
This set is quite powerful on it's own. But it lacks mobility when you are not facing enough monsters in the rift. It just makes you run slowly until you find some monsters to shred apart. However, since 2.2 this can be solved by the In-Geom sword.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The charge speed is based on your movement speed! You may want to add SPRINT as one of the skills.
IN-GEOM DESCRIPTION:
The In-Geom sword was added in patch 2.2. Its secondary special ability gives you additional cooldown reduction after killing any elite pack:
Your skill cooldowns are reduced by 8–10 seconds for 15 seconds after killing an elite pack.
This means that cooldowns that are activated after the buff triggers are already reduced by 10 seconds. And further killing any elite pack reduces the cooldown by another 10 seconds.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You need to kill every single monster from the elite packs, not only the big yellow one or one blue elite. You need to kill them all in order to trigger the ability. In-geom also triggers with goblins!
This weapon is best used as off-hand as it have a high attack speed and low raw damage. So it's best to aim for Cooldown Reduction on this weapon as one of the statistics.
THE SYNERGY:
The synergy is simple:
1. It gives you the ability to charge EVEN when there is no monsters around.
- Thanks to the 10 seconds cooldown reduction on charge, it makes it spammable (charge have 10 seconds cooldown).
2. It helps you to kill guardian in seconds.
- 15 seconds of charging without any kind of worrying if there is anything around.
3. It allows you to keep permanent Berserker.
- Every elite pack you kill reduces the cooldown by 10 seconds. With ~~30% CDR you need to kill about 3-4 elite packs to refresh the berserker on it's end. This gives you more crit chance, more move speed and more damage (50% more).
What about using Rimeheart with in-geom since everything will be frozen from FC?
I'm Sorry, but it seems to me like you, aGnostick, just wanted to post to be a huge douche. It doesn't really matter if your build is superior or not, it's personal preference, and to be honest, this build is only made to farm T6, not rifts, read the description. Rifting could be incorporated later with some gear tweaking, but personally, i enjoy this build a HELL of a lot more than WW build, basically because it's a new user friendly build, and it doesn't take years to farm the necessary gear at the right stats for each item, and it does have it's perks with quick clearing. Lastly, just to clarify, i think Silvach was trying to state that there are just enough elite packs in any rift map to be able to function this build correctly. With an added bonus, shrines give you another elite pack to further work the build.
Keep working on some more amazing builds Silvach!
