I personally really like Phantasm for proc'ing 6 piece Zuni when Piranhado is on cooldown, but Acid Cloud and Grasp of the Dead are also great options. (Update: Recently started running Grasp of the Dead: Death is Life and it's amazing with Gruesome feast, currently prefer this over Phantasm.)
In the video I'm running Grave Injustice over Gruesome Feast, mainly because on my PTR gear I didn't have much pick up radius. Gruesome Feast is probably overall better for more damage, Grave Injustice is decent for Slam Dance and Piranhado.

Yea, in 2.1.2 they changed Poison Dart% to affect every fetish when they shoot poison darts, so its best to roll the 25% Fetish Army damage off the Zuni String in favor of 15% poison dart damage. Simplicity's Strength also increases the damage of every fetish when they shoot poison darts.

Update. So I tried this build, almost no ancient pieces, I'm using a different belt and my dagger is 2100 damage the worst roll I've ever seen. I cleared 43 only dying once and had 6 minutes to spare. Very very solid build can't wait to gear it better
Wouldn't running the new restraint and focus be better than both RORG and Unity?
I wanted to point out after some testing and a talk with one of the best WD's, Zyhm from Dragon, using Haunt is best because of the 20% from the poison rune. IDK why you would recommend using anything else for our spender to proc the 6pc. Haunt casts fast, it spreads fast and as I said gives a 20% buff to all damage done.
Because Haunt is a single target spell, and only proc's on the initial DoT tick. I never said it was bad, but you are spending less time spamming poison dart by casting a single target spell. If you are running an 8 second piranhas Haunt becomes much better, because piranhas becomes more reliable for AoE 6 piece zuni proc'ing.
Things like Phantasm, sit on the ground and proc 6 piece zuni with each tick.
For single target, Haunt is obviously the best spender.
Agreed and I'd also use the haunt belt so you spend less time casting
The nice thing about the current Witch Doctor builds, is that you can run many variations on core set ups. Personally, I wouldn't do this because you're giving up 7% attack speed and 50% crit damage to gain 20% poison damage, but I'm sure it works just fine.
I feel like depth diggers are really good in this, you could replace the unity with tier and put them in, it a huge significant damage increase.
Depth Diggers do not work for Witch Doctors or Wizards.
I love the Elemental ring, 50+ it's pretty tough to run it over a Unity, however. Just gotta fish for the right rift at that point.
Why is 15 percent posion dart on off hand better than 25 percent fetish army.... Does the fetish army dmg not apply to the fetish psychophants??? Even so it must be close consider how difficult it would be to get 15 percent posion dart dmg on off hand considering their 37 different options that can roll
The Fetish Army damage only applies to the Fetish Army, not the Fetish Sycophants. 15% poison dart damage buffing 23 fetishes > 25% fetish army damage buffing 8 fetishes.
Might it be better to:
1. Lose the RoRG and wear Zuni ring (which always rolls a socket and int, vs RoRG which always rolls attack speed and LoH)
2. Replace Aughild's bracers with Lacuni's
3. Wear Profane Pauldrons (helps w/ Gruesome Feast etc)
I haven't crunched the numbers, but I believe CC & CHD is better on a ring than IAS and CHD - if that is true, then Zuni ring can be better than RoRG can. Also, you will probably find an ancient Zuni ring with Int/CC/CHD/Socket, but an ancient RoRG with Int/CHD/IAS/Socket would require an insane amount of luck and it would be a massive waste of time to spend the entire season farming for that impossible roll.
Lacuni's give a nice 6% attack speed increase, obviously a massive DPS boost vs Aughild's which only boosts your DPS on elites
Profane Pauldrons are pretty underrated if you're using Gruesome Feast - plus you will gain several seconds in time in a greater rift if you don't have to run around picking up globes as much.
Getting that close to perfect RoRG isn't as difficult as you make it out to be, also, running RoRG in Carnevil is less detrimental to the build than most builds, because of how much we value attack speed.
Lacuni's/profane pauldrons are a fine option if you have well rolled Lacuni's to do so. The majority of people won't, but they will have the aughilds plan. 15% damage reduction from elites is the biggest reason why I don't like dropping aughilds.

i was so worried about having to roll the offhand potentially 100's of times with all those potential different oh outcomes
Greetings! So i have completed a GR45 on my seasonal Carnevil build thus far. I understand that fetish army does not scale off CHD (you do, but your fetishes do not), but rather, IAS, CHC, and of course + % Poision dmg.
What about re-rolling CHD OFF my CoE and my Gloves for IAS? This would cost me ~ 100% CHD, but would yield me more IAS.
Also, has anyone seen any hard-analysis on the IAS break points for this build?
Your fetishes most certainly do benefit from Crit Damage. They gain 100% of your sheet Crit Damage.
Carn just dropped, i doubt ill see a DoD anytime soon, can i do this with a SMK?
