This build I will try is focussed around spreading damage with electrocute quickly and getting the maximum damage output.

Next patch gives us meteor boots which I think is best in slot here.

This build uses almost no arcane power but I might test slow time instead of familiar, or a damage spender.

 

Basically you use Tal rasha chest, amulet and one of the three others to fill up the 4set bonus with a royal ring.

it's a pitty there is no tal rasha gloves or shoulders alternative, as this would be much better.

I'd probably prefer the belt as velvet + ball of hate are kinda a thing here.

This lack of tal rasha gear does give us the opportunity to run either 2 aughilds (shoulders/bracers) for obvious bonus or 2 firebirds (shoulders/gloves) for the extra life you'll likely need.

 

In the early stages I feel cain's will aid a lot in both paragon and the attack speed is a good bonus for electrocute.

later on depth diggers and meteor boots or fire walkers (elemental exposure) are mostly the boots of choice.

 

The object of the build is to crowd control heavily with black hole + calamity stuns + halo of arlyse stuns so you can just dps everything down easily and have a 100% uptime on bane of the trapped.

 

gem picking in the other slots are a bit more tricky:

Toxin - shard of hate synergy

Pain enhancer - if it turns out everything dies within 5 seconds I'll replace this over toxin

Gogok - attack speed AND cdr benefit the build

Simplicity's strength - even though it seems like a logical pick, I doubt it can outperform its competitors

Wreath of Lightning - seems like a logical pick in an electrical build but I'm afraid this gem will also underperform compared to Gogok/toxin/pain
