I call this build DB Barb ( Decibel Barb) because you must have all shouts on so your barbs will be constantly yelling like an alcoholic, will explain why you need them all in the posts below as it is a very complex build and skills/items work hand in hand(in hand in hand).

I've been thinking about a build with big damage output, but at the same time to keep me out of risks since I play HC. This build will be even more viable on SC since you won't need to focus that much on toughness , maybe change some skills around for even more damage.

So grab your popcorn and be happy you finally can get rid of the horrific leap x infinite build since half a year. I " leak it" since I won't be able to use it in seasons since I won't be able to play much, so enjoy it!

Keep in mind:

- I have no legendary gems, only one useless one( the one with more damage/range) so I'm actually minus a stat
- No hellfire neck
- Didn't work on the build... just thought about it, implemented it and recorded it, so each of you might switch things around.
Proof on level 28, wasted 3 minutes in a dead end, I don't want to make 100 runs and pick the best so here it is( @ 13 minutes) will try level 30 tomorrow, pretty sure it's more than doable :

You can see my hp bareley gets down ( with exception of the moltens I ate, I just like doing that on HC it gives me chills :)) )

I have no mic and no experience in editing and so on, but will make more videos in the future with crazy builds like this one. Might keep one for me only when I want to rank on seasons.

Theorycrafting : (most skills work hand in hand and you need to read all of it to understand )
Most important thing is to have Skull of resonance, the higher the GR, the more value you get from this helm.






  • With this helm you will be able to take most of the elites mechanics out of the equation( sometimes they use jail and other effects on themselves)
  • Mobs will fight eachother too, so basically you and your barbs can dps them at will
Inspiring presence ( with all 3 shouts) is a must because:






  • You provide regen and resists for you and your pets with War Cry/Impunity
  • Duration of shouts is doubled, including the charm effect from skull of resonance
  • Battle Rage with Swords of Ploughsares- boosts your damage and provide regen via globes for you and pets
  • Threatening shout with grim harvest will provide great damage reduction on higher GR+ globes to heal you "wolf pack" this will add up to BR globes.
COTA is a serious skill now and totally worth it on most builds so :






  • IK set is a must
  • Aim for as much IAS as you can. Fire rune will bring you crits of over 60 mil with all CD's( In the video I don't have WOTB)
  • Tasker and Theo is a must, aim for IAS instead of CHD imo
  • Increase COTA dmg on shoudlers and chest if possible ( 30% extra FTW)
Aughild shoulders and wrists (not mandatory)






  • Great and easy to get set that provides superb protection and damage output.
Berserker rage and whirlwind with ligthning rune EVEN if you have fire elemental






  • This is the odd part, I know, but damage output from battle rage ( 25%) is more beneficial and additional to the pets and yourself, overall it's more damage and you won't be ragestrved.
Ignore Pain with Iron hide this needs no further description and it's optional, I picked it to get out of crowd control and tough situations, but this remains a mandatory skill only for HC players.

Juggernaut is a must, you need it so you won't get one shotted in higher GR from stacks of frost balls and you need the CC reduction so you can be constantly moving to deal WW dmg and keep the Hexing pants buff up

Hexing pants and Maximus Both needed in order to perform top notch with this build.
