Smite enemies up to 30 yards away with holy chains that deal 175% weapon damage as Holy. The chains break off and strike up to 3 additional enemies within 20 yards for 150% weapon damage as Holy.
Reaping
Gain 6437 increased Life regeneration for 2 seconds for every enemy hit by the chains. This effect stacks up to 4 times.
Gain Swiftness with every attack, increasing your Attack Speed by 1% and Dodge by 0.5% for 4 seconds. This effect stacks up to 15 times.
Everything about the gear is pretty much self explanatory. A few notes tho:
- Bracers : Doesnt really matter what bracers you have as long as they have both reduced melee and ranged damage. Ancient Parthan Defenders are good only if you're sure you have someone in your party that is stunning enemies often.
- Shield: I find The Final Witness to be required for the simple reason your shield glare affects all around you, instead of cone.
- Belt: String of ears is the absolute best, however if you dont have an eligible amu and your blackthorne's belt and amu are good. Go for it.
Important:
- You want CDR wherever possible in your gear.

Build Guide
This build is designed for Crusader players who want to play the role of 'Tank' or 'Support' in a party.
It's meant to be played in a 4-man group and it's been working for me up to GRift 38 but I'm sure I can go to 40.
Build focuses on 2 main aspects:
1 - BLIND - Blind your enemies at all times, keep them blinded and don't let them see. Did I mention you should blind your enemies? Now seriously this is the most important part of the gameplay. Your most important job in the party is to keep the enemies CCed so your team mates don't RIP. Not to mention blinded enemies take 20% more damage. Thats 60% average damage increase for your party (assuming you're running 4-man).
2 - BUFF - You should keep Laws of Valor Critical up whenever possible. Big boost in dps for your party. NOTE: If you're very confortable about your gear and GRift level, swap Indestructible for Long Arm of The Law and you should have permanent Laws of Valor Critical up. Another important buff is Consecration, being cast 4x along all your teammates that's a huge AoE and significant heal for your team mates, not to mention it slows and has a change to freeze enemies.
