game crashes

  • Im having an issue starting the game. I log in, and after it verifies things, I get the error message "Diablo 3 retail has stopped working". I have updated my video card drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the beta, and it still does the same thing. I realize its a beta, and still buggy, but man do I want to play! Any help out there?

    Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

    Click on Start
    Click on Run
    Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
    Hit Enter or OK

    Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it all here.
