Depending on the D3D error message you get would depend on the troubleshooting steps that need to be performed. Go ahead and do the following for me.

    * Make sure your graphics card and OS are fully updated

    * Disable Xbox DVR if you are running the Anniversary update for Windows 10.
Search for "Xbox" and open the Xbox app (You will need to log into your Microsoft Account. Or create one if you do not have it).
Once open, click on the settings option on the left (Cog Wheel).
Click the slider for the game DVR to turn if off.

    * Delete Battle.net cache folder and file folders.

If you continue having issues, please post your DxDiag and paste the contents of the Text document you just made into the post, select and highlight everything you just pasted, and hit the “code” button (</>). That’ll make the information much more readable. Please also include the exact error message you are seeing.
