Could you please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:
Press Windows Key + R.
Type DxDiag and press Enter.
In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information.
Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it)
Locate the Dxdiag.txt file just created and open it to copy and paste ALL of it's contents into your reply.

This is where you're having a problem, under the Display Devices section for your AMD Radeon HD 5450
DDraw Status: Not Available
D3D Status: Enabled
AGP Status: Not Available
All three entries should be saying "Enabled"
This is usually remedied by either rebooting the PC or reinstalling the video drivers.
You should be using the Crimson Edition 16.2.1 Beta release.

Could you try installing the Crimson ReLive Edition 17.4.3 release drivers?
You can use the minimal setup if you'd rather not download the whole 514 MB suite.
