No audio on Mac

  • The isn't producing any audio on my machine. I ran Starcraft 2 and the audio worked, Would love to hear this game. Audio is Enabled in Diablo settings.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    Diablo III Beta Patch 17 ? v.0.11.0.9327
    Regression Test
    No sound out other than internal speaker only on this patch either.

    New information:
    No sound other than built in speakers when tested via Parallels v7 Windows 7 64 bit pro, but PoisonCoyote reports all? MAC sounds are OK using MAC has a Windows machine.

    Can you post your full system specs? We're unable to re-create this at this time, and would like more information about your set-up, so we can try to match it as close as possible.

    Obtaining System Information
      1. Hold the 'Option' Key and choose System Profiler/Information from the Apple Menu.

      2. Copy the information from the following sections:
    • Hardware (remove the Serial Number line)
    • Graphics/Displays
    • Software (remove the Computer Name and User Name lines)

  • Thanks for the details on this. I think we're talking about 2 different things.

    We're still looking into the no sound for Mac Pros and D3, but not having the option to switch sound is not directly related to this, and isn't a bug.

    I'll post back when I know more about the no sound on D3 for Mac Pros.
