Vaneras, how long does it usually take to get the beta activated? :-) If I've understood things correctly, you do not get a key personally after winning a contest, but instead wait for you to activate it, right?

That is about right. We will do it in waves though, meaning that accounts will activated as soon as a series of contests is complete and the winners have been identified... I can't provide you with specifics, as some winners may have to wait a little longer than others, but there will be more than one wave :-)

I won a key a day ago, but still not recieved anything from Blizzard.. Is there like days where you guys ship out or is it just random so I might have to wait 2 weeks while others won today, wait 1 day or get one today?

It can take a little while before the winners of these fan site contests will be able to play, it varies from winner to winner. The reason for this is that we are providing beta access in waves, so if you won just after one wave, you will have to wait until the next wave before you can play the beta.

There are alot of people who won keys from svenskadiablo.se contest last week. We were told that a list of b.net accounts were sent to blizzard to be activated. So it is up to blizzard to send us the keys. We've been waiting for more than a week now. It's starting to get pretty annoying with no infromation about what's happening. Can a blue-post please confirm or deny anthing about this ?

beta invites via opt-ins is already happening, as have been mentioned several times already in this thread as well as other threads. Huge numbers of keys have been distributed via opt-ins already, and more are to come: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/3429934687?page=2#22

Granted, you would have a slightly higher chance of getting a key if we did not offer keys via fan sites and only via opt-ins. That being said, it is only a relatively small number of keys that are distributed via fan site giveaways and contests, so small in fact that if those keys were to be added to the pool of keys sent via opt-ins, your chance of getting a key via opt-in would be increased approximately by 0.1%
