Downgraded to Starter Edition

  • I bought a hard copy of diablo 3 back when it was still 60$ and still new, I wanted to start playing again before the expansion. But when I tried logging in it wouldn't let me onto any of my characters stating that I needed to upgrade from the starter edition of the game. I never even made a guest pass or starter account I don't think they even existed on release. Which is why I don't understand why both my diablo 3 and my starcraft 2 have been downgraded. When I try to renter the keys it says you've already activated this or check your library. It says Upgrade available on my battle net account although I assume it just means it thinks I don't have a cd key. Has anyone else had this issue? I tried looking on other threads but none of them related to me, I did utilize the search function on the forums..

    I'm not seeing StarCraft II or Diablo III ever having been added to the Battle.net account you're posting from. Could you email me the two keys you used and I'll see where they're applied? I suspect they're simply on another account you used before but aren't using now.

    The Battle.net account you're posting from doesn't seem to have ever had a retail license for Diablo III attached to it.

    You'll need to submit a support ticket or call in/web chat as there are no other methods you can use for assistance for this sort of issue. We're unable to help here in a public forum as personal info has to be exchanged to establish ownership.

    You need to submit a ticket, call, or do a web chat if available. You won't be able to do the rollback yourself.
