Master the art of the uninstall of beta =)

  • Make sure you uninstall the beta, then install the pre-install client.

    a. uninstall from control panel (programs and features or add/remove programs)

    b. delete the program files folder for diablo if it is still there. it should delete, just in case:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III Beta
    C:\Program Files\Diablo III Beta

    c. delete:
    c:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment
    and if still there
    c:\ProgramData\Blizzard

    d. reboot your pc

    e. disable antivirus/antispyware during install if you run into issues (dont forget to re-enable it afterwards!), otherwise download the pre-install client:

  • Demogorgon,

No, if you have the pre-sale client already downloaded, you just need to wait until it's unlocked so it can be installed.
